SANTO DOMINGO- DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. February. – JB Foundation celebrated National Student Day in the Dominican Republic. Said celebration took place on Friday, February 18, 2022.
The non-profit organization carried out the activity as part of the delivery of teaching materials to boys and girls from the Hermanos y Amigos school and foundation located in Santo North Sunday. More than 100 children participated in the celebration and they received kits of materials which included, Mindjoy learning booklet, plasticine, coloring book, colored pencils, carbon pencil, ruler and a notebook for notes during their daily classes.
About Academic Booklets: It is an educational program that the JB Foundation is carrying out with the sponsorship of The Breteau Foundation, a non-profit organization that works for a world in that every disadvantaged child can access a quality education, regardless of their origin and location.
During the activity, the boys and girls were able to enjoy a cake for the celebration of students' day, and the program was carried out with the presence of Mrs. Judith Bohler, President of the JB Foundation who is in the Dominican Republic for the next six months for local job issues.
The Director of Social Programs, Egal De Los Santos, expressed feeling very happy because we are achieving our desire to continue contributing to education in the Dominican Republic. In the next few days we will continue to bring more materials on this and new educational projects will be starting by the JB Foundation.
JB Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2018, with the aim of contributing to the development and training of vulnerable children, adolescents and women through different social programs.
