Los Tres Brazos- SANTO DOMINGO ESTE, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. AUGUST. As every year JB Foundation concludes its successful annual back to school program "Lapiz y papel" This year delivering 100 backpacks thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors.
This year our first delivery of school supplies took place on Sunday August 27th, with the participation of 50 children from the community of Villa Agro in the municipality of Bayaguana. This special delivery was made possible thanks to the generosity of the company IMAR BUSINESS GROUP and its CEO Marcus Boereau.
Our second delivery of this year took place on September 2nd in the community of Santo Tomás de Aquino in the sector of Los Tres Armas where 50 children received their school supplies thanks to the generosity of all donors who were part of our fundraising campaign Yo dono $100 PESOS held in July.
We are especially grateful to all the donors and to the company DHL United States for being a fundamental part of this delivery who generously supported us in the logistics of this delivery.
About the program
Every year, Fundación JB carries out its Pencil and Paper campaign, which aims to bring school supplies to children and adolescents from the most disadvantaged communities in order to ensure that children and adolescents have a safe return to school.
Each child and adolescent receives 1 backpack, 4 notebooks, pencils, pencils, rulers, erasers, pencil sharpeners, ega, colored pencils, among other things.
