SANTO DOMINGO- DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. April. Last Saturday, April 2, we resumed our Libras de amor food program where we distributed a total of 313.92 pounds of food with an equivalent of 24 bags.
Currently our food and nutrition program is developed in the sectors of Cruce de Guerra, Los Tres Brazos and Villa Agro in the Municipality of Bayaguana.
Fundas de amor is a program whose main objective is to eradicate child malnutrition and good nutrition in the elderly in the Dominican Republic. This program will offer families the opportunity to transform their lives and become healthy and productive adults.
We thank @lechetonactivo2030rd @activo2030sd for the milk donations which were part of this program.
Thanks also to @fmsc_org who were our main ally with the donation of fortified rice.
