In order to fulfill our mission and objectives in the community, we have joined forces with Ephrata Area Social Services (EASS), a non-profit organization that supports our neighbors in need in the Ephrata and Cocalico communities in the northern part of Lancaster County, to make a food donation delivery for Thanksgiving.
This is our second collaboration with EASS, as a way to give back to the local Ephrata community and show our appreciation. With pride, we have donated 20 turkeys to be used on family tables, along with other canned goods. We are pleased to report that, with the support of Giant and Wegmans supermarkets, we have made a donation of $700.00 dollars to contribute to the enjoyment and celebration of this holiday.
Thanksgiving is a special occasion where families and friends gather to express their gratitude for the freedom they enjoy, as well as for food, home, and many other aspects of life. The JB Foundation is constantly growing and planning to implement new programs that align with our mission, both in the United States and in the Dominican Republic. We are proud to be able to support families in our community and have a positive impact on Dominican society.
