Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Last Tuesday, March 16, we kicked off the Academic Booklets program. A program that seeks to support students during this time of pandemic and that supports schools in different localities, providing teaching materials to children of pre-primary, first, second, third and fourth grade of primary school. On this occasion we started working with the 205 students of the initial level of the Centro Misionero Católico Hermanas Franciscanas Bernandinas in the sector of Los Tres Brazos.
Academic Booklets is a program of the Breteau Foundation, which is working together with the JB Foundation to continue bringing quality education to different locations in the Dominican Republic.
In this first stage we are working with 350 children who will be receiving didactic materials to work at home with the help of their teachers.
